A charming, cosy chalet privately situated in the grounds of a pleasant country house in the heart of Kent, mid-way between the delightful villages of Lamberhurst, picturesque Goudhurst, Horsemonden and Brenchley. This is an ideal location for touring Kent, visiting the many castles and gardens - Scotney Castle is very close - and excellent walking or cycling from Goudhurst or nearby Bedgebury, famous for its Pinetum. Golf, riding and fishing are all available nearby, plus New Water reservoir, a superb location for watersports, fishing, cycling and riding. Excellent shopping is to be found in historic Tunbridge Wells which is only 7 miles distant and for trains to London, regular services are available in Frant or Paddock Wood.Parking is available at the end of the driveway with access to this delightful accommodation via a pathway and gate to the main door at the side of the chalet. The comfortable lounge area has a 2 seater settee, armchairs, colour TV, video and oil filled electric radiator - this is in addition to the electric storage heating which is throughout the property. A storage cupboard/wardrobe is also located in the lounge area and which houses the iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner. The compact double bedroom has a pine bed, wardrobe and bedside tables with lamps.
