This lovely Victorian terraced cottage has recently been refurbished to offer modern, light and comfortable accommodation. There is a large storage/utility room on the lower ground floor with useful space as a drying room, for cycles or similar gear. The rear garden enjoys the sunshine for most of the day and there is a small patio area with a pedestrianised High Street full of cafes and restaurants, small specialist shops and chandlers.The beach and waterfront at Cowes is within a ten minute walk and is very colourful in the sailing season.The cottage is within walking distance of the Red Jet high speed catamaran from Southampton and the floating bridge at East Cowes for those visitors arriving on the car ferry from Southampton of for visiting Osborne House and the seafront.The accommodation is spread over 4 floors and visitors should be aware that as the property is a Victorian cottage of character, the stairs are narrow and a little steep. There are two double bedrooms, one with twin bed and the other has a double bed. From the top landing there is a pretty view across the rooftops to the harbour which is just two roads away.The bathroom has full bath and separate shower unit.The ground floor has a comfortable living room with TV/video and DVD and some games and books to while away the time on holiday.The fully equipped kitchen has a stainless steel oven, hob and extractor, a microwave, fridge and washer/dryer. There is also a freezer in the utility room and an iron and ironing board.All electricity and gas including central heating and hot water is included in the costs.We also supply at no extra charge, bed linen and towels for guests.There is on-road parking outside the property on a first come first served basis and there is a council car park within a two minute walk.
