Princessa and Coastwatch Cottages have both been renovated to a high standard. They both have the English Tourism Council 3 Star grading. The cottages were built of yellow brick with a slate roof over 100 years ago. There is off street parking with fenced courtyards, barbecues, garden furniture and drying facilities.Princessa Cottage sleeps six and is entered via the courtyard into an open plan living area with comfortable seating, dining table and chairs, TV and video combi, cloaks cupboard with ironing board, iron, vacuum cleaner etc. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. It has a 4 ring cooker, oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, electric toaster and jug kettle.There is a double bedded room on the ground floor and two more bedrooms on the first floor, one with a double bed and the other with two singles, all with spacious wardrobes. The bathroom is on the first floor.Crosswatch Cottage sleeps four and is open-plan downstairs with two bedrooms upstairs, one with a double bed and the other with two singles. The bathroom is on the ground floor and this cottage is equipped in the same way as Princessa. Cots and highchairs can be provided. Duvets and pillows are provided, bed linen and towels supplied weekly. All services are included in the weekly hire charge.The Cottages are former coastguard residences situated in the Forelands area of Bembridge, approx 75 metres from a sandy beach and a short walk to the local shops.
