Old Walls apartment was converted to be a completely self contained, one bedroom ground floor apartment in 1993. The bow fronted drawing room faces south and over looks the large, mature garden: with the front door leading onto the quiet Church Hill road, the only noise that will possibly disturb you will be the church bells on a Sunday morning. Street parking is available directly outside the flat and we will provide you with a complimentary parking ticket for many of the local car parks. The large bow fronted sitting room, has a sofa, two arm chairs, dining table and has a ‘divan’ bed which is easily folded away during the day. From the sitting room patio doors lead out on to the patio and through to the garden. The patio faces south and is a pleasant, sheltered sun trap; part of the lawn is also available for guests' use - garden furniture is provided. The kitchen has a gas hob, oven, washing machine, dish washer and fridge. Gas fired central heating (and plenty of hot water) is provided. The flat is equipped with a flat screen plasma TV which receives all free view channels, DVD player, radio and CD player, but no phone. The bathroom has a bath and separate walk-in shower, the bedroom sleeps two, and the bed can be made up as either a double bed or two singles - please let us know. The bedroom has a large cupboard, and chest of drawers which offers plenty of hanging and storage space. Coat hangers are provided. Our house is already home to two cats, but we do accept a small, well-behaved dog (additional charge of £12 per week), however, we do ask, that in fairness to our other guests, the dog does not sleep on the bed or lie on the sofa, chairs etc. Utility charges, duvets, cotton sheets and towels are all included in the weekly rate.
