There is no noise from the station, as it is a single track and runs once an hour slowly into Lymington and is 100 yards away. It conveniently connects to the Isle of Wight ferry terminal, and to Brockenhurst in the New Forest, which has a fast service to Waterloo and Bournemouth. As it is a detached garden away from the cottages it is quiet, not overlooked and has the sun all day long. Upstairs is a spacious and light landing with a large Velux window.
