Our two cottages are situated a few minutes walk from the Solent Way, where there is a choice of good eating places that are open all year. There is also a bird sanctuary, lovely walks along the coastland to the north is the New Forest, ready to be explored.The cottages have full central heating and are very cosy with double-glazing throughout. Our frequently returning guests remark on how quiet they are.The cottages are fully carpeted, with an easily managed broad, shallow staircase. The entrance is through a hallway into a spacious light and airy bay windowed lounge with dining area. It is tastefully furnished and has a remote controlled TV. The kitchen has a gas hob, fan oven and extractor hood, iron and ironing board, cutlery and crockery for 4 persons, and all the usual cooking utensils. The bedrooms have a double bed in one of the cottages and twin beds in the other, and both bedrooms are equipped with a remote control TV. The lounge also has two comfortable single sofa beds for additional guests. The fact that the cottages a adjacent to one another does mean that can come on holiday with friends, if you wish, and still be entirely independant. The bathrooms contain a wash basin and a shower over the bath. The large airing cupboard also has a drying line. The garages are converted stables at the rear of the property.Gas and electricity are inclded in the tariff, as is the clean linen, duvets and pillows. Towels can be provided at a little extra cost.The cottages are available from 2pm on the day arrival, until 10am on the day of departure.
