Barn Owls is a lovely old barn conversion. It runs the entire length of the garden and is converted into three beautiful, fully equipped self catering apartments. It shares its grounds with The Old Farmhouse, and has plenty of off street parking. It is a very peaceful retreat and is situated right at the foot of the South Downs. You can step out of the back garden straight onto the downs, and if you like walking you’ll love this quiet location.

The different apartments are:

Barn Owls (sleeps up to six) We can now offer Barn Owls as a more flexible option with either one or two bedrooms via connecting doors. So it can be hired as a one bedroom apt (with double bed), or with a twin room as well. It also has a shower room, a full size kitchen with washing machine and a split level lounge and dining room. In the lounge there is a sofa bed that converts into a double bed.

Snowy Owls (sleeps up to two)This apartment is the smallest. It has one double bedroom, a shower room and an open plan area in which you can relax eat and cook. In the kitchen area there is a small table top cooker.

Tawny Owls (sleeps up to six)This apartment has two bedrooms, one double and one twin room. There is a shower room and a large open plan room that is a combined kitchen/lounge/dining area. In this room there is a sofa bed that converts to a double bed. There is a washing machine in this apartment. Prices are based on four people sharing

All apartments have the following facilities unless stated otherwise: Full size cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, television and radio.

All bed linen, towels and electricity are provided within the rental price for full weekly lets, for shorter breaks linen can either be hired or you can bring your own. They are all heated with electric night storage heaters, and this heating is included within the rental price.

You will find Barn Owls apartments just off the A259 coastal road, between Newhaven and Seaford. At the end of the drive there is a good bus service and a train station just five minutes drive away. The beautiful town and beaches of Seaford are on your doorstep, as is the Newhaven ferry service to France if you fancy a short trip abroad. Within a thirty minute drive you will find Alfriston, Lewes, Eastbourne and Hastings in one direction, and Brighton and Hove in the other. All with places of interest and plenty to see and do.
