The old Farmhouse is a delightful 200 year old four bedroom cottage which will sleep up to eight people. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom. And two further rooms with twin beds. There is also a shower room and another separate toilet. A cot is also available if requested in advance.

Downstairs, there are two lounges, one on either side of the house. The heart of the house is the kitchen where you will find the largest of the log burning fires. The house is not centrally heated, but has a background heat of night storage heaters downstairs together with the beautiful log burners, and upstairs there are electric radiators.

It is fully equipped with everything you might need throughout your stay, and there is a utility room which contains both washing machine tumble dryer and there is also a downstairs toilet. Other facilities in the property include large double oven in kitchen, freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a television, CD and DVD player.

The Old Farmhouse shares its garden with a beautiful old barn converted into self catering apartments called ‘Barn Owls’, so if you have a large party of people we can accommodate more people within the same grounds.

All this is situated at the foot of the South Downs and it is a wonderfully peaceful retreat. You can step out of the back garden straight onto the downs, and if you like walking you’ll love this quiet location.

For full weekly lets, bed linen and towels are provided free of charge, for shorter breaks, they can either be hired or you can bring your own. Unfortunately, we do not allow any animals in the farmhouse.

Finally there is ample off road car parking. We can normally accommodate up to four cars for the farmhouse.
