Modern and comfortable facilities, combined with traditional features, make for a superb holiday location. Set within a 450-acre traditional sheep and fruit farm with far reaching views across the open countryside. This is a wonderful location for families with children. There are walks from the cottages and at certain times of the year lambs can be seen in the neighbouring fields. Both cottages have recently been converted, incorporating many traditional features, in keeping with the surroundings. Both cottages have an open plan living room incorporating a modern well equipped kitchen, lounge/dining area with exposed beams, adding real character and French doors leading on to a private patio. Blenheim cottage has a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a twin bedroom. Russet cottage has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Both cottages also have a separate shower room and outside there is parking beside the properties. The local pub is only a few minutes walk away and for groceries there is a small supermarket at Peasmarsh, within a five-minute drive. Rye Foreign is situated within four miles of the picturesque town of Rye, which has cobbled streets, quaint tearooms and restaurants and an abundance of shops for all tastes. Rye railway station provides access to London, with a journey time of 75 minutes. The beaches of Winchelsea and Camber Sands are approximately 3 and 6 miles away respectively. The major seaside town of Hastings is only 11 miles and has many interesting places to visit for all ages. This is a great location for visiting the famous gardens at Great Dixter and Sissinghurst.
