There is a free ISDN connection to the internet for those who need to keep in touch with their e mails.  We provide teabags, filter coffee, biscuits and 2 pints milk for all guests.  Little Marshfoot is one mile from the centre of the ancient market town of Hailsham, where the usual stores and amenities are to be found.  Hailsham is particularly proud of its restored Art Deco cinema which shows all the latest releases, and its Lagoon Leisure Centre where people can swim, use the gym or the ten pin bowling alley.  We can provide a range of garden games including giant chess, dominoes, snakes and ladders, pick up sticks and hi-tower, and there is also a croquet set which can be set up on the lawn.  A gas barbecue is available for the summer months.  

The south facing loggia captures the morning sun, and this together with the patio offer interesting outdoor spaces for breakfast or supper 'al fresco', or to watch visiting birds and other wildlife. Little Marshfoot is only six miles from the sea and the South Downs National Park, yet one mile from the Sussex countryside and villages.  It is ideally located for touring further afield - Eastbourne, Hastings, Bexhill, Tunbridge Wells, Battle and Brighton, and further afield Canterbury, Rye, and Dover are within driving distance.  London is best accessed by train, with a half hourly service from Polegate.
