Secluded, 2- bedroom cottage set amidst streams, lakes and woodland on the edges of the South Downs National Park

On the edge of the South Downs National Park, this completely refurbished 19th Century timber holiday cottage retains many of its original features including open fires, exposed wood floors and ornate Victorian panelling to the exterior. With a top-of-the-range, Gold Standard 5-star ETB rating, the cottage comes equipped with all the modern conveniences and comforts you'd expect.     This includes a bathroom big enough to swing a cat in (but please don't), with a separate bath and large shower cubicle. The kitchen is, naturally, fully fitted and equipped while in the dining area an oak table and chairs sits in front of a wood-burning stove. (Logs provided. Just help yourself). Also in the dining area are the patio doors leading onto your own 5-acre private garden, surrounded by woodland.     In the lounge, relax in front of an open fire, select from the wide range of DVDs on offer and enjoy a film or two on the wide, flat-screen TV while curled up on one of the two comfortable sofas.     Bed-time? All the beds have deep, interior-sprung mattresses, pure, Egyptian cotton linen and over-sized, pure goose-down duvets.     As for things to do and places to visit, we have a wide range on offer including several golf courses, the nearest of which is less than 15 minutes away. Both Glyndebourne and Rudyard Kipling's old home at Batemans are on our doorstep while Leeds Castle, Pashley Manor Gardens and the Bluebell Railway are within easy driving distance.
