The Granary is a single-storey cottage attached to the main house on a family-run nursery. Situated just outside the village of Boreham Street in an elevated position, it has extensive views across surrounding farmland.The newly-refurbished accommodation provides a comfortable, cosy holiday home for 4 people in 3 bedrooms (1 double, 2 single). All linen and towels are provided. The large living room has colour TV, DVD/VCR player, CD/radio and a selection of games, books and videos. The kitchen is well-equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, toaster and automatic washing machine. There is a freezer in the porch. The bathroom has an overbath electric shower plus additional wall heater. There is oil-fired central heating available all year. Private garden with seating. We are a non-smoking establishment and do not take pets. Situated in 1066 country on the edge of the High Weald, there are numerous attractions to visit and beautiful scenery to enjoy. Herstmonceux Castle and Hands-On Science Centre (2 miles), historic Battle (6 miles), Eastbourne and the South Downs (10 miles), quaint Rye (20 miles). Tunbridge Wells spa and trendy Brighton (25 miles) are just some of the places to visit, while Fort Fun, Treasure Island, the award-winning Drusilla's Zoo and Knockhatch Adventure Park will keep the young at heart amused for hours.
