Newlyn, A home from home 

Newlyn is an elegant 1920's detatched house overlooking the village green and beyond to the splendid views of the distant fells of the Lake District. Only steps away from the popular village pub, antique shop and village store. Over Kellet is a small exclusive village in the heart of the countryside, yet only minutes away from the M6. It is an ideal base for touring the Lakes, where you can walk in the footsteps of Beatrix Potter and Wordsworth. You can ride the original steam train to the bay of Lake Windermere and float across on a original victorian boat.
Kirkby Lonsdale, Kendal and Arnside are also just a short drive away. You can visit the historical city of Lancaster or paddle in the sea at Morecambe Bay or just take one of the many local walks from your doorstep. We are only 2 miles from the Carnforth Station where the famous 'Brief Encounter' was filmed. There is a number of different attractions and facilities for all ages.

Newlyn has a King size bedroom and a double bedroom. A luxury bathroom with bath, shower and washbasin. On the ground floor there is also a garage conversion with sofa bed and shower room. The entrance hallway leads onto a breakfast room and large kitchen with a stable door opening onto a pretty courtyard garden.
There is a large lounge with a windowseat and dining room with french doors leading in to the garden. There is also a downstairs cloakroom.

The house has gas fired central heating, gas oven,microwave, fridgefreezer, dishwasher,colour TV, DVD and video player. There is also a number of games and books. Next to the beautifully tended garden is a driveway that can accomodate 3 cars.

Newlynn is a truely idylic retreat to be enjoyed all year round.
