Being on the doorstep of the three National Parks, the cottage provides an ideal base for touring and walking.Coast within a mile.

There are many good golf courses locally and fishing is available on the River Lune nearby.

"Kiln Cottage", as the name suggests,is part of a former Malt Kiln dating back over 200 years and is situated adjacent to the picturesque Lancaster Canal.

Colourful narrowboats pass the door,together with swans,ducks and moorhens,while the towpath provides opportunities for walking and cycling.

A short stroll along the canal towpath brings you to the village,where you will find the post office, general stores, butcher, newsagent, churches and a couple of pubs.
