Originally the village school house, the original cottage dates back to the 1780’s, and now offers a high standard of accommodation with superb views across the fells and mountains from all windows. Central heating and double glazing. Ample off the road parking and garage. It has both a front garden and rear patio with garden furniture and extensive views of Blencathra and Clough End.

The cottage is ideally located for those looking for a picturesque base from which to explore the northern Lakes and fells with many walks and cycling tracks right on the doorstep. There are lovely riverside walks and an old railway line providing a pleasant way to cycle or walk to Keswick. There are two good pubs, both serving excellent food, within a short stroll from the cottage. There is also a children's play area nearby. For keen golfers, just across the road is Keswick golf club, which is open to visitors.
