Nearby lie trails to one of my favourite tarns, High Dam, perfect for a picnic or paddle in summer. An easy lane walk brings you to Newby Bridge and the Swan Hotel, a friendly inn by the river. From the church a path goes to the Lakeside hotel with fine cuisine, perfect for a little indulgence.At Lakeside, steamers offer trips on the lake, calling at lakeside towns and villages.Comfort, peace with a touch of elegance combine to make the perfect home for lazy holidays and celebrations.Set among fells and meadow, this 17th cruck-built barn has been given grand treatment.Downstairs you will find a spacious kitchen for easy dining or candle lit celebration meals.
