The apartments are ideal for business or leisure, and a great escape for those who are working in the city of Newcastle.
The region is historically famous with all of Northumberland's castles and the many Roman sites . World Heritage sites of Durham Cathedral and Hadrian's Wall also make excellent day outings. Beamish Outdoor Museum, with all its many awards, is also a great attraction and gives rides on trams and a steam train.Other train enthusiasts find much of railway interest in the region to enjoy. Harry Potter fans enjoy Alnwick Castle - and its famous gardens, fountains and tree house are huge visitor attractions.Bird watchers have Whitley Bay Lighthouse, Washington Wildfowl Park and the Farne Islands near. Holy Island ( Lindisfarne ) also draws many visitors. Since 1003 Tynemouth Longsands adjoining Cullercoats has hosted the National Surfing Championships.
