Our cosy, stylish, stone built self catering cottage is situated in the heart of Hadrian’s Wall country, in the centre of Humshaugh village (1/2 mile from Hadrian’s Wall) We are 25 minutes from Newcastle Airport and 5 minutes from Hexham (market town of the year). Our cottage provides a great base for exploring the North East and North West of England, as well the Scottish Borders.

Our tastefully decorated cottage has all the modern comforts to make your stay an enjoyable one.

We do have a large fully equipped modern breakfasting kitchen. Although for those not wanting to cook we are surrounded by a large number of excellent eating places.

We have a large comfortable lounge so there will be no problem with guests who want to unwind and relax.

Upstairs there is a twin bedroom at the back with 2 full sized single divan beds. At the front we have a large triple bedroom which will has 3 full sized single divan beds.

We also have TV’s, hairdryers, fans and tea/coffee making facilities in the bedrooms..

Both bedrooms go off a galleried landing and share the large bathroom which is situated between them. The bathroom comprises of a bath with an electric shower over, hand basin and toilet.

We have oil central heating throughout and a constant supply of hot water. There is no additional charge for heating or electric and all cotton bed linen and towels are included.

For the comfort of our guests we operate a “no smoking” and “no pet’s” policy.

We appreciate that not all guests require weekly accommodation and therefore will accommodate any number of nights that may be required.
