A warm welcome awaits you in our comfortable farmhouse on the Heritage Coast. We are a working mixed farm. The accommodation offered is in 2 double bedrooms with wash basins; hair dryers are also provided. Guests have their own TV lounge/dining-room with tea/coffee-making facilities. The hearty breakfasts include our own free-range eggs. We have central heating throughout and are a non-smoking property.The spectacular view from both bedrooms is past the inward looking cliff face (scar) across 2 fields to the sea. Cullernose Point juts into the sea and provides a nesting site for seabirds. The coastal path passes along our shoreline making us an ideal base for walkers. The ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle are also within walking distance. The area is noted for its other castles at Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Alnwick, Warkworth and Chillingham plus historic houses such as Cragside. The Farne Islands, famous for their colonies of seals and sea birds, and Holy Island (Lindisfarne) are within east driving distance. The Alnwick Garden is also not to be missed.For golfers, there are several golf courses nearby. We are on the coastal cycle route and provide secure storage for cycles.The local bus service passes our gateway. Meals are available at pubs, hotels and restaurants around the area.
