This very comfortable and spacious Beadnell Cottage has an attractive secluded setting in the heart of the fishing village of Beadnell. It is located beside the older properties in Beadnell. Beadnell is approximatelly one mile from Seahouses and three miles from the historic village of Bamburgh. The town of Alnwick is a 15 minute drive away. The area is steeped in history with numerous castles and country houses open to visitors. The property consists of two old cottages in Beadnell (approx 400 years old) joined into one with a large extension added to the rear. The house has double glazing throughout and has under floor, cavity wall and ceiling insulation for comfort and energy efficiency. The cottage is split level, with 4 different floor levels. St Ebba’s has a large front garden with drive and ample parking for at least 4 cars, and a larger lawned South facing fully enclosed back garden. Further parking is available at side of house if required. It is a short walk to the beach, coast and good pubs serving food. The house is normally rented for use by up to 8 persons. There is plenty of room for cots in bedrooms 1 and 2. Cots are not provided. Please note: It may be possible to provide a sofa bed in the lounge/dining room downstairs for a further 2 persons. Details on request. Longer rental periods can be negotiated during the low season.
