A wing of a sunday school conversion lying in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of Frosterley village, just down the hill from magnificent moorland. Weardale is one of the least busy areas of Northumbria and is centrally located for Darlington, Durham, Newcastle, Hadrian's Wall, the Lake District, North Yorkshire and the North Pennine Moors. The holiday cottage has four ensuite bedrooms, a country kitchen/dining room, and a comfortable sitting room with wood-burning stove, as well as full central heating and on-demand hot water. Each room is sympathetically decorated to suit the style of the building. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which suitable for wheelchair access with appropriate designed ensuite bathroom, this room has a four poster bed. The other ground floor bedroom is a twin-bedded room, also with ensuite bathroom. Both upstairs bedrooms are doubles with ensuite shower rooms and space for a cot; the larger room, with its stunning arched window, also has a built-in single bunk bed. Each bedroom has a portable television and the sitting room has television, video, and radio/cassette/cd. The completely refurbished kitchen/dining room boasts a modern range cooker, fridge, drinks fridge, and dishwasher, whilst the washing machine/tumble dryer, freezer, microwave and drying facilities are housed in the adjoining utility room. No smoking in the house please. Outside there is plenty of parking and a sitting out decked area over a fenced stream - toddlers beware! One or two dogs are welcome with prior notice; we have two Old English Sheepdogs ourselves and live on the premises. Special Features
