We are on the Western slopes of the Malvern Hills, overlooking rural Herefordshire and with a panoramic view of the Welsh Mountains. Situated just below the Worcestershire Beacon, there is good access to several hill paths, including some pleasant gentle walks.The self-contained holiday flat, sleeping 2-4 as outlined below, is quiet, cosy and convenient, offering in addition a dedicated parking space and use of its own garden and patio area. facilities in the flat comprise: Fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, fridge & microwave. Fully modernised bathroom/WC with bath and shower facility. Bedroom with double bed, fitted cupboards, etc. Lounge with colour TV, cassette/radio and lounge suite, the sofa converting into an extra sprung double bed (a 'zed-bed' is also available). Conservatory, with sitting and dining areas. A vacuum-cleaner and cleaning materials are provided, and washing, drying and ironing facilities are also available on request.There is central heating throughout and the option of an open fire in the lounge, with additional free-standing electric heaters if needed! All cooking, heating and lighting costs are covered by the basic charge. Terms 2005: £205 per week high / £140 pw low season, including towels and bed linen for the double bed. Well behaved pets are welcome by arrangement at a nominal charge of £10.Access: By road: on the B4232 on the Western, Herefordshire side of the Northern range of the hills. By rail: The nearest station is Great Malvern, about 2 miles away. There are taxis and a rural bus service links West Malvern to Great Malvern. Ramblers might prefer to hike up from Colwall Station... West Malvern has a country pub, church and village hall, while Great Malvern offers a wide range of shopping* and other facilities, including theatre, concert hall, swimming pool and cinema.
