Weavers Cottage is situated off Broadway main high street, in the heart of the Cotswolds.
This delightful 18th century cottage With excellent local surroundings and plenty to see and do, Weavers Cottage is the ideal holiday destination for any occasion. Weavers Cottage was built in the 18th century and shows many of the traditional cotswolds features associated with this period. From the early 1930's the property was established as a weaving shop. It continued as a business for nearly 50 years. During that time it was extended into the family home, which still exists today. Weaver's cottage maintains many items and pictures from the past, such as a cotswold stone inglenook fireplace and tools from its time as a weaving shop. This all adds to the homely atmosphere throughout the cottage. Master Bedroom With a king sized bed, the Master Bedroom provides all that is needed to ensure a good nights sleep. Complete with bedside tables and reading lamps. With a large built in wardrobe and antique chest of drawers, this room has ample storage space. A chaise longue suite is situated at the foot of the bed. As the second largest bedroom in the cottage, the En-Suite room is also known as the family room. It offers a king sized bed with accompanying bedside tables and lamps. The room contains an additional single bed, large wardrobe and a dressing table. An en-suite shower room is also close at hand. From the window the famous Broadway Tower can be seen. Single Bedroom As the smallest bedroom in the cottage, the single room is probably the cosiest. The single bedroom has a built in wardrobe, bedside dressing table and reading lamp. This room has the added advantage of being only a few steps away from the bathroom. Twin Bedroom As in all of the bedrooms in Weavers, there is a bedside table and reading lamp. Two comfortable full sized single beds sit side by side, separated by the ideally situated bedside table. The twin bedroom also contains a large wardrobe and chest of drawers. The Sitting Room The Sitting Room boasts a range of features including an upright grand piano, two three piece suites, and a large coffee table. There is also a solid oak drop leaf table, which is ideal for writing those postcards! On one side of the room is a large chest of drawers full of board games, jigsaws and cuddly toys. In the corner is a colour television, video recorder and amstrad games console. A mini hi-fi with cd player is provided for those who prefer musical entertainment. The Dining Room contains a large dining table which is situated in the bay window. Eight people can sit comfortaby with a lovely view of the garden. There is also a three piece suite, colour television and Cotswold stone inglenook fireplace. The sitting area is overlooked by a traditional wall clock. Kitchen Other accessories include a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, food mixer and kettle. There is a breakfast table and chairs for up to six people.
