Leading to small enclosed patio garden (sunny aspect), garden seats. Balustraded stairs with half landing (not steep) leading to first floor.First Floor – Attractive gallery landing with double put-u-up sofa bed for third person to sleep if necessary. This area can be used as a sitting area as it enjoys afternoon and evening sun. Double bedroom, quality mattress, quilt or blankets etc., pine suite, bedside lights, night storage heater.The cottage is fully equipped including bed-linen and towels. Parking next to cottage. Out of season short breaks.Several footpaths radiate from the village with the famous Dove valley 5 miles away and scenic Manifold Valley only 3 miles away. From the Mermaid Inn outside the village can be seen spectacular views of the nearby Roaches and Ramshaw Rocks, a favourite haunt for walkers and climbers, and on a clear day views of the Welsh and Shropshire hills.
