Alton Towers 6 miles.The Orchards is a modern bungalow built chalet-style, with the garage below. It has a stunning setting, standing on the side of the Manifold Valley with wonderful rural views in all directions. The cottage has its own drive and lawned grounds with extra parking for 2 cars.There are steps up to the front door but once inside, all rooms are on one level, making this property suitable for all, including the elderly or less able. There are three good sized bedrooms, one double, one twin and one with adult-sized bunk beds - very popular with children! The living room is spacious and comfortable, with a huge picture window to take in the peaceful surroundings and a cosy log fire to toast your toes after a wonderful walk through the dales.The kitchen is hand-made in knotty pine and extremely well-equipped, with fridge-freezer, washing machine, microwave, food processor etc. Stable doors open from the kitchen for trotting out onto the surrounding lawns. The dining room is gorgeous, with a polished oak floor, Welsh Dresser, table for six, and two picture windows giving unrivalled views through the Manifold Valley. Just imagine eating your breakfast with sheep and lambs grazing nearby and woodpeckers yaffling in the wood behind the cottage, the scent of bluebells and wild garlic drifting on the morning breeze.The bathroom has bath and shower, shaver point and hair dryer. All rooms are double-glazed. All linen is provided, including towels. A cot and highchair is available. A supply of fuel for the fire is included.As The Orchards is based on a farm, there are always animals to see and meet, and in Spring time there are lambs to bottle-feed.
