A Swedish style lodge in a woodland setting adjacent to owners home. On 1 level, lounge/diner, kitchenette, bedroom with superking bed and shower room. There is ample off road parking. The kitchenette is fully equipped to included cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, washing machine, a dryer is available outside. The lodge is oil fired centrally heated and a wood burner is fitted for guests use. The initial supply of fuel is supplied, linen, towels and electricity are included in tariff. There is a patio area for guest use in warmer weather. Just yards away is an occupied badger sett, the badgers can sometimes be seen by careful and patient watching. We are close to Shropshire Hills ie. Longmynd and Stiperstones, also Shropshire Way, on the Longmynd gliding and hang gliding take place. On the peak of the Stiperstones is an interesting outcrop of rock known as the Devils Chair. The old market town of Bishop's Castle is 4 miles from the lodge, it boasts various hostelries, 2 or which brew their own ale and most offer food. The Railway Museum and House on Crutches are well worth a visit, Ludlow is 30 minutes as is Shrewsbury, both have a wealth of old and interesting architecture, 2 of the top 10 restaurants are in Ludlow. Powis Castle at Welshpool is worth a visit, as is Stokesay Castle and Craven Arms.
