Families warmly welcomed.West Farm Cottage is situated on a 370 acre working beef and arable farm 4 miles from Bridgnorth. The farm is part of the 'Countryside Stewardship Scheme', which means we farm in a way which cares for natural habitats and the environment. We are a family run farm and you are welcome to explore and meet the animals. We have cows, sheep, hens, cats and Poppy the farm dog. The cottage is set in an old brick farmyard. It backs onto stunning countryside which gives the cottage pretty views and a tranquil location. The cottage dates back over 300 years. The rooms are spacious and airy. The cottage has its own patio backing onto open fields, often with cows to watch. The breakfast kitchen has a dining area. It is fully equipped including washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave. Sit in the window seat and take in the views of the farmyard and cottage garden. The entrance hall with wooden floor and storage area provides plenty of space for coats, shoes and bags. The large lounge has comfortable seating, television and DVD. The primary window has original shutters. Relax and enjoy the open fires and beautiful views. Bedroom 1 has a double bed with wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and stunning views. Bedroom 2 has twin beds. Beams and sloped ceilings give a cottage feel. Bedroom 3 is a single. The bathroom has a WC, bath with hower mixer over and hand basin. There is an outbuilding for storing garden furniture and bikes or other gear you may bring with you. Central heating and open fires at no extra cost. Bedding and towels are provided. Tea, coffee and other essentials are in the cottage to welcome you on your arrival.
