This lovely old cottage has recently been refurbished and enlarged to accommodate 4 people in 1 double and 1 twin bedroom.

The well-equipped kitchen comprises electric cooker, fridge, pantry, microwave, and night store heater.

The living/dining room has a cosy wood burning stove for chilly evenings, colour TV and video, CD Player, telephone and night storage heater.

There is also a twin bedroom on the ground floor providing accommodation for people who have difficulties with stairs. There is a downstairs cloakroom with toilet, washbasin with shaver point and heated towel rail.

Upstairs there is a double bedroom with night storage heater and a small airing cupboard with immersion heater. The upstairs Bathroom has a bath with over-bath shower, toilet and washbasin. There is also a shaver point and heater.

Outside there is a garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue. There is ample car parking space and grass paddock.

Linen is included in price and towels available for hire.

Bird Farm Cottage is located near Hereford in the Welsh Borders. Hereford itself is an attractive market town with a cathedral.

There are many attractions in the surrounding area including:

- How Caple Court gardens
- Berrington Hall near Leominster
- Eastnor Castle

The location is ideal for walkers with the Wye Valley Walk only 200 metres away, the Forest of Dean and easy access to the Malvern Hills and Brecon beacons.

Golf Courses can be found at Hereford, Leominster, Monmouth and Ross.

There are many local towns to explore including Fownhope 1.5 miles, Ross on Wye 8 miles, Hereford 8 miles and Ledbury 8 miles. We are also ideally situated for day trips to Bath, Oxford, Worcester and Cheltenham.
