Woodlodge is a beautiful, spacious and comfortable three bedroom house.It is idyllically situated with half an acre of gardens in 18 acres of ancient woodland in rural Suffolk.Woodlodge is about 150 - 200 years old and was formerly a pair of game keepers cottages, hence the superb position set in the middle of ancient coppiced woodland, and the large lawn where Pheasants and Partridges would have been reared in days gone by. Extensive but sympathetic renovations were carried out in 1983/84 so that the house now contains all modern conveniences whilst still retaining its charm and character. All bedrooms have fitted carpets, bedside cupboards and lamps, adequate hanging space, drawers etc. As an alternative sleeping arrangement there is a double sofa-bed in the Lounge that can be used in place of the single beds in Bedrooms 1 & 2. Exclusive access is given to guests of Woodlodge and High house Farm to over 18 acres of woodland and 250 acres of farmland, including several miles of hedgerows and twelve ponds. There is a particularly attractive pathway through the wood which is regularly mown. Woodlodge has ample parking space for six cars or more.
