Wherry (No: 25) Peninsula Cottages, Wroxham, capital of the Norfolk Broads is a 2 bedroom (sleeps 4) cottage right on the river bank of the river Bure, with free fishing and mooring from the Peninsula cottage marina, and 100m of river bank.  The cottage enjoys views of the river and Wroxham Bridge from all rooms.

The cottage is only a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of Wroxham, which is a lively, bustling village with a large number of shops restaurants, riverside pubs, bars and cafes.

On site is a licenced bistro, and the cottage enjoys it's own free mooring.  Day or picnic boats can be hired within walking distance, and can be kept on the mooring right outside your door.

The cottage comprises refurbished kitchen / diner, and refurbished bathroom / shower (for 2007 season), living room with french doors opening to it's own private terrace, stepping down into shared landscaped gardens.  There are two bedrooms; a very large double room, and a twin room with full size single beds.

New for 2009 (from end May), the cottage will have new three piece suite in living room and new bedroom suite in the double bedroom.

The cottage is managed on-site on behalf of the owners by Peninsular Properties Services Ltd, (01638 781838) and they can advise on availability and take bookings.  The cottage is also featured in Hoseasons (Parks & Lodges Brochure 2009), but cannot be booked through them.  Be sure to ask about 'No:25' as Peninsula Properties Services manage other properties in the Peninsula Marina.  Your may otherwise be offered an inferior property with limited views
