The village of Stibbard offers visitors a chance to enjoy a peaceful, rural, countryside holiday whilst being within easy reach of the splendid North Norfolk coast. There is an excellent choice of places to visit in the area as well as cycling and walking along quiet lanes and footpaths. The village sign is a unique monument known affectionately as "Fred", a ploughman welded out of agricultural implements and a soldier's tin helmet.  There is a Pub/Thai restaurant at Guist Bottom one mile away and further amenities are available at Fakenham, which is four miles away, and Holt eight miles.
