The Bothy, a charming holiday cottage, was built some time around 1699 with some of the beams coming from the original Hall itself, and was at one time used as a dairy.
The entrance hall of this charming holiday cottage connects the various rooms, which all come fully equipped with all you'd need for a perfect break. The generous accommodation comfortably sleeps 5 people, plus a child's cot, with a double bedroom, a twin room plus a single bedroom on the ground floor. The fully-fitted kitchen contains a fridge-freezer, a microwave oven and a twin oven cooker, while the comfortably furnished sitting room has a colour television and radio. A door leads to a private, secluded and well-tended garden, complete with table, chairs and a barbecue for outdoor enjoyment. The stairs lead up to a landing which connects the upper bedrooms and a well-appointed bathroom that is stocked with towels.
Both of the larger bedrooms benefit from fitted wardrobes, providing ample storage during your stay. Children are most welcome. Cots and High-chairs are readily available upon request.
The Bothy enjoys full oil-fired central heating and also has a multifuel stove, so you'll be snug and warm even in the depths of winter. All electricity and oil for heating are included in the tariff.

2 Cottages - The cottages are set in the undulating wooded countryside of South Norfolk. There are many reasons why visitors enjoy staying here, not least of which is the peace and quiet of the countryside here-abouts although there have been comments about the volume of the 'dawn chorus' in the Spring!The lanes that lead here go nowhere else, but Hales Hall is at the hub of interesting places to visit. Three small riverside market towns Loddon, Beccles and Bungay are all within a few miles - where you can hire boats, go fishing, play golf or just rummage around the antique shops. Historic houses, gardens and specialist nurseries abound. Those with a taste for the sea have a wide choice, all within half an hour or so.
