Houghton Hall in North Norfolk was built in the early 18th Century by Sir Robert Walpole, Britain's first Prime Minister, and has been the home of the Marquesses of Cholmondeley since 1797. The estate borders H.M. The Queen's Sandringham Estate and is close to the Heritage Coast of North Norfolk and within reach of the Norfolk Broads and many places of historic or natural interest.
