One of Four 17th Century Cottages with olde world charm. Once an old ale house, called the fullmongers arms, Coach and horses would have rested over night on there way down to London. We have renovated The olde coach house over the past 25 years,and have retained that olde worlde charm, set in the waveney valley on the Norfolk Suffolk borders, it is ideal for touring both counties, and is central to Norwich Ipswich Bury St Edmunds and the beautiful coast. All our cottages have been renovated to a high standard, and give that home from home feeling, they are all well furnished and very well equipped. All cottages share the natural 2 acre gardens you can wander through the trees that we have put in over the years as they run down to the banks of the river waveney, fishing is availlable in season.Pike, chub are just a few of the fish your can see swimming around, just throw a little bread and watch them jump. You can sit and watch the wildlife for hours, and just relax and enjoy the peace.Feed the ducks swans and geese, or just watch out for the king fishers, flashing from bank to bank. and if your are rearly lucky you may even see an otter diving for his dinner. You will find the summer house BBQ and garden furniture available for guests. We have private off road parking. Brockdish is 6 miles from the old market town of Diss, and 4 miles from the small town of Harleston. a few miles from Billingford windmill, Bressingham gardens and steam museum,Banham zoo, Minsmere Bird reserve, Framlingam castle and church, southwold, Dunwich beach (known for it's fish and chips) the disappearing Covehithe with its beautiful hidden beach and bird reserve. are all within easy reach. Our Village Inn 100yards Nearest shops Diss and Harleston Nearest Railway station Diss. Local Bus service. Pump Cottage, has the facilities for four persons. Downstairs has a fullly fitted kitchen, a dining room, a lounge and woodburner. The bathroom with bath, WC and washbasin is also on this level.
