The Greyhound which has just re-opened after being closed for two years, is one of the area's most unique pubs. When you walk through the door, it's like stepping back 100 years. There is a selection of 'real ales' served direct from the cask and an interesting selection of bottled beers from Europe, Asia and the Far East. The bar is full of stuffed birds, antelope heads and interesting artefacts, making it a very rare find in village pubs. There is no food served at The Greyhound, but you are welcome to buy your fish and chips or Chinese takeaways in the village and eat them in the pub.
