Bank Cottage Holiday Cottages are set in quiet farmland (crops, not animals) but are still only 5 miles from Wisbech and a mere 2 miles from the A47 Peterborough to Kings Lynn trunk road. The cottage has two bedrooms - double and twin - and full bathroom. The large reception room contains a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and comfortable sitting area with television, video recorder and radio cassette player. Full central heating ensures you will stay toasty warm in winter and the new stable front door ensures a cool breeze in summer. Outside there is a pretty garden with seating and barbeque and a mere 100 yards down the lane the River Nene awaits you for riverside walks and perhaps a spot of angling or birdwatching. The cottage is arranged on one floor so is ideal for families with children (cot and high chair at no extra charge) or for guests with limited mobility. The surrounding countryside is flat making it ideal for recreational cyclists or walkers and being situated on the borders of Norfolk, Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire there is no shortage of places of interest to visit. There are many golf courses within any easy drive and just 25 minutes drive away a recreational airfield can offer you the thrill of a trial flying lesson in a light aircraft from just £35. The legendary architecture of Ely is within easy reach together with the delights of the Peter Scott walk and even a butterfly and birds of prey park. If you don't go home with a list of places you hadn't time to visit you really weren't trying! At the end of a long and fascinating day, what better than to relax with a drink to enjoy the unrivalled and spectacular sunset that surrounds you.
