The Old Garth Holiday Cottages are situated in the quiet village resort of Trusthorpe. Take a short pleasurable walk along the promenade to Mablethorpe, and enjoy the bustling fun fair and seafront attractions, a firm family favourite. Leave the car behind and catch the sand train or vintage bus to Sutton on Sea, and enjoy its peaceful village atmosphere and golden sandy beach. We are close to all amenities and yet uniquely located with our own access to the seafront. There are many local restaurants to enjoy as well as entertainment at many of the pubs and clubs within the twin resorts. Completed in 2003, they provide the ideal base to explore the Lincolnshire Coast and nearby Lincolnshire Wolds. The historic market towns of Louth, Alford and Market Rasen are within a short drive and visitors are never very far from the unspoilt diversity of Lincolnshire's Poacher Country.The accommodation is superb and capable of sleeping 4 to 5 people. The cottage design provides an open-plan living space, including lounge, dining room and fully fitted kitchen. The ground floor is tiled throughout reminiscent of the old stone cottage floors. The large downstairs bedroom has two single beds and is adjacent to the walk-in shower room/WC. Sledge ceilings give a pleasant airy feel and were a feature adopted from the original dwelling. Upstairs can be found a large galleried bedroom with double bed, reached by space saver stairs. These are unsuitable for the disabled or very small children. All beds have duvets and linen is included, except towels. The cottages face south with veranda, BBQ and enclosed lawned garden.Disabled friendly - ramp access, wide doors and lowered light switches; adapted kitchen with lever taps, 170 degree hinges, walk-in shower room with drop down seat and safety rails.
