A very warm welcome awaits you at Grange Farm. The Bakehouse originally served 3 farm cottages and is over 250 years old. Small and cosy, with the bread oven and original beams downstairs, the combined living, dining and kitchen area are tastefully decorated. Furnished and equipped to the highest of standards. Downstairs the sofa can sleep 2.Upstairs the double bedroom features an oversized chimney breast, beams and is furnished with a beautiful iron bed with brass knobs complimenting the character of the cottage. The shower room with power shower is beautifully tiled from floor to ceiling.Set on a cobbled yard, The Bakehouse has an adjacent utility room where washing and drying facilities are available. Guests have exclusive use of a small private garden with furniture and barbecue. There is an all weather tennis court available free of charge by appointment.Grange Farm is an arable farm involved with countryside stewardship which encourages good farming practice and wildlife habitat management, where we have many acres of undisturbed land to encourage insects and nesting birds. The "North Kesteven Stepping Out" walks and our farm tracks make this an ideal place for those who enjoy walking and indeed cycling with perhaps a bite to eat at the village pub.Rural but not remote, close to RAF College Cranwell and 3 miles west of Sleaford with market days Monday, Friday and Saturday. Within easy reach of the city of Lincoln, historic Newark and Grantham making this an ideal base for sightseeing and shopping.Although we do not allow dogs in the Bakehouse, we can provide a heated kennel. Food and bedding not supplied. Smoking is not permitted in the Bakehouse, but guests may smoke in the garden. High Season Low Season Closed at Christmas, Closed at New Year Cottage |
