The cottage forms part of a york and cobbled mews once inhabited by Alfred Lord Tennyson. The cottage is on 3 floors and has recently been completely (and sympathetically) refurbished to a high standard. It consists of a well-appointed kitchen/diner which includes a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge/freezer and cooker. There is plenty of space in which to relax and cook and eat a leisurely meal should you wish not to take advantage of Louths excellent and varied restaurants and local public houses.The 1st floor consists of a bedroom with twinbeds and bathroom with bath and shower facilities. The 2nd floor lounge has 2 very comfortable sofa beds for extra guests, a television, DVD and hi-fi system. For your relaxation and enjoyment there are a variety of popular DVDs, board games and card games. From the lounge (positioned in the eves of the house but with plenty of head room and space) there are spectacular views of the historic St James Church. Outside there is a pretty patio-garden adjacent to the house with outdoor seating and barbeque facilities. A small outside is suitable for storage of bikes etc. There is off site parking for 1 car within 2 minutes walk.
