A detached modern bungalow in a quiet country lane overlooking water meadows in at a rural location. Well furnished near local pubs. Near Rutland Water.

This family run cottage is owned and maintained by Phil and Dawn - cleanliness is of a high standard. We live next door and are at hand if you have any problems or queries.

On the other side of the property our daughter in law runs a newly built cattery-ideal for cat owners who would like their cats nearby whilst they are staying here!

Elderflower Cottage overlooks our paddocks which are home to our horses, geese and sheep-all of which are our pets.

Although in a rural location we are near to two villages, one of which has very good pubs serving food.

We are also near to historic Stamford and Burghley House, Rutland Water (ideal for walking, cycling, sailing and bird watching) and some lovely woods which are again ideal for walking, cycling and bird watching.

A welcome pack with basic groceries is supplied on arrival at the cottage.
