Welcome to this pretty stone cottage situated in the quiet village of North Luffenham in England''s smallest county - Rutland. The cottage is close to the south shore of Rutland Water and approximately one mile from Rutland Sailing School, Normanton Bike-hire centre and a departure point for the Rutland Belle Cruiser which takes you on a relaxing trip around the largest man-made lake in Europe. A short drive will take you to the north shore of the lake where other activities are on offer. The accomodation is also within easy distance of historic houses and castles in the surrounding counties - Burghley, Belvoir, Belton, Rockingham and many more.There are two public houses in the village, both serving food. A shop selling provisions, newspapers etc. is approximately half a mile away. Further shopping facilities can be found in the nearby market towns of Oakham, Uppingham and Stamford. The cottage classified as English Heritage Grade II, sleeps 3 -4 people and comprises sitting room, dining room/wll-eqipped kitchen, double bedroom, small twin bedroom, and bathroom with bath and shower. There is also a spacious landing/reading area and a small garage for storage of bikes, wetsuits, fishing gear etc.It is a non-smoking/no pets establishment.
