It nestles under the Losehill Ridge with wonderful south facing views across the Hope Valley. It is a walkers’ paradise with direct access to the footpath network. Shepherd’s Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage, one double and one twin, and has two bathrooms. It is ideal for four people. The original oak trusses and beams feature everywhere upstairs in Shepherd’s Cottage Everything is brand new - the furnishings and equipment are to the highest standard with careful attention to detail to make your stay memorable. Out of consideration for other guests, this is a no smoking cottage. The sitting room has a lovely fireplace made of stone mullions reclaimed from the original barn. The fire is a very effective ‘living-flame’ electric stove. Shepherd’s Cottage has full central heating and double glazing, two bathrooms: one upstairs with a bath, basin and WC, and a downstairs shower room with basin and WC. With TV, CD, DVD in the cosy sitting room and oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer in the kitchen areas, everything is provided for you.
