This mid terraced stone built cottage dates back over 200 years being situated in the heart of this popular village, enjoying splendid views across the valley to Win Hill. This is an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions of the area with some excellent local walking in the Upper Derwent Valley and of course Edale at the beginning of the Pennine Way. Fishing is available in nearby Ladybower Reservoir and golf at a nearby private club. You enter the house from the rear into the small hall, off which is the well equipped kitchen/dining room with all the essentials you will require for your stay. A door leads through into the good sized lounge, with sofa bed and the welcoming gas coal effect fire; the picture windows taking in views across the garden and beyond to the Hope Valley - a door from the lounge leads out to the garden. Also on the ground floor is the main bathroom with bath and shower over, hand basin and toilet. The stairs from the kitchen lead to the 2 bedrooms, the main bedroom to the front with a double bed and its own shower cubicle with electric shower, and separate toilet and hand basin - the bedroom enjoys some wonderful views across the surrounding countryside. An occasional folding bed is available on request, which can be put up in the main bedroom. The 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds. The garden is gated and secure.
