The sandy beach is Ideal for children who love to go "crabbing" off the quay.

For example, the Talyllyn Steam Railway, which starts in near by Tywyn, is well worth a visit and there are numerous historical sites within close driving distance. In addition, the spectacular mountain and valley scenery, including the peaks of the Cader Idris and Aran Fawddwy ranges, makes this haven for walkers, climbers and wildlife watchers.
