Ye Orchards is located in Goodwick village, which overlooks Fishguard Bay. The house is comfortably appointed, with four bedrooms and two bathrooms; it sleeps 8 and has gas fired central heating. The bedrooms have country or sea views, and the rear garden has views over the bay. Goodwick and Fishguard have restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes, easmany of which are only a few minutes walk from the house. Ye Orchards provides a base for exploring the Pembrokeshire coastline, local sites like St. David's Cathedral, and the Preseli Hills. Other activities include golf, sailing, walking, surfing, fishing, horse riding, and even day trips to Ireland. Downstairs Ye Orchards has a comfortable sitting-room, with colour television and video recorder. There are some books, board games and videos. The patio doors open into the garden, and there is a gas fire for extra heat in the winter. The dining room will seat eight and looks to the front of the house. There is a utility room with washing machine, iron and board, and stable type door to the back garden. The downstairs loo is off the utility room. Upstairs there are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite shower room with loo. Two of the bedrooms are twins and one has adult bunk beds. All bedrooms have duvets, two pillows, mattress protectors, plenty of drawer space and bedside tables with lamps. The master bathroom includes a corner bath and separate shower cubical. The back garden is mostly lawn with good country and sea views. The garden table and chairs (eight) are kept in the shed. There is no telephone at Ye Orchards, but mobile phones do work. The driveway has space for three cars. Click on any of these pictures to enlarge it.
How to get there Follow the A40, then signs for the ferry port at Goodwick (Wdig in Welsh). You will probably approach along The Parrog (A487) with the sea on your right. Go straight across the roundabout into Station Hill. Turn left beyond the Rose and Crown pub into Goodwick Hill, signed Strumble Head. Precelly Crescent is the second right up the hill and is opposite a double bend sign - it is a sharp hairpin bend. Ye Orchards is pink in colour, on the right hand side, and located on a left hand bend. Alternatively, go further up Goodwick Hill and round the bend, until you see Goodwick school playing field on your right. Turn right just after the field, go to the end of the road, right again and then left into the top of Precelly Crescent. Ye Orchards is the last house on the left and next door to a pink semi-detached house. For More InformationVisit Property's WebsiteAmenities
