Riverside fully modernised two-bed cottage (one double, two adult bunks) in picturesque village of Beddgelert. Double glazed and central heating. Modern kitchen. There is a beautiful raised decked area at the rear of cottage overlooking the River Alyn - a glorious spot to sit and eat breakfast, or to enjoy a glass of wine later in the day! The decked area is gated and secure and children of all ages are welcome. Beddgelert itself offers four pubs and hotels offering food and drink, a pizza restaurant and a bistro. There are shops, a gallery, gift shops and cafes also. There is a beautiful walk along the River Alyn which is accessible to almost all walkers. There is an award-winning ice-cream parlour which always proves very popular in the summer! The village has a well-equipped children's playground, and the shallows of the river offer hours of fun with a fishing net. The locality offers enjoyable visits to Port Meirion, Cricceth, Caernarfon, and the Electric Mountain at Llanberis. Many outdoor pursuits available nearby, including canoeing, horse-riding and water sports. The location of the ottage offers the opportunity to be as busy or as lazy as you like - but we are sure that you will never be bored !
