Nestling into the Cambrian Mountains, The Nags Bed at Brochen Farm offers traditional bed and breakfast and a warm welcome to horses and riders. The comfortable stone farmhouse has been refurbished to a high standard but has retained many original features. The house is centrally heated; double-glazed and has spectacular views over the Wye Valley. We have 2 double guest bedrooms and a family room with television in each room and tea and coffee facilities at any time. Also available is our spacious sitting room with Sky TV, DVD and video. For the discerning horse, we have four boxes, a tack room with lockable tack boxes, a small schooling area and plenty of grazing. Parking for trailers and boxes is available. Quiet lanes and bridle paths surround Brochen Farm for those wanting a gentle amble, or for the more adventurous horse and rider, you can experience the wild freedom of the Cambrian Mountains. Both our rooms are designed for your comfort and convenience with ensuite shower rooms and a hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities and a television. We are proud of our acre of beautiful landscaped gardens which combine lawns, wooded and natural areas as well as a large pond which all attract a vast array of wildlife. Our balcony and pavilion provide perfect positions to relax and unwind with the sound of the stream running along the bottom of the garden and cries of Buzzards and Red Kites flying overhead, mixed with the songs of the wide variety of smaller birds all around. For riders or partners interested in non-horsy activities, Brochen is within half a mile of the Wye Valley Walk and there is also plenty of hill walking. Anyone keen on watching wildlife will be charmed by the red kites, buzzards, peregrines, bats, badgers and hares and the magnificent countryside around Brochen has opportunities for cyclists, canoeists and fishing in the River Wye.
