Wye Knot Stop Café and Bed & Breakfast is a 300 year old building in the centre of the little village of Llyswen over looking the magnificent Black Mountains.

We have three rooms, the spacious family room which can sleep up to 4 persons full en-suite shower and bath, our twin room on the ground floor designed to be wheelchair friendly with en-suite shower room  & hospitality trays and our newly completed double bedroom with shared bathroom.

Our tariff is £28 per person per night with under 12s half price.

The village itself has a post office and general stores, a garage and very pretty church. The river Wye runs through this picturesque village where the river makes a very pronounced oxbow bend. We are very close to the Wye Valley Walk and about 8 miles from Offa's Dyke. 

Walking, cycling, canoeing, rafting & pony trekking are just some of the popular local outdoor activities.

The village is set inside a triangle of 3” tourist towns”:
Builth Wells and the Royal Welsh Showground is only 11 miles so makes an excellent base for the shows in its calendar.

Hay On Wye (the renowned book town) is only 8 miles away.
Brecon, in its Beacons National Park is 9 miles away.

We are easy to find on the main A470

Our cafe' is open 10-5 every day except Tuesdays. We will be more than happy to provide evening meals for guests with prior arrangement.
