Isfryn is a homely cottage situated on our smallholding 7 miles from the wonderful coastline of New Quay. The ideal location to explore New-quay Llangrannog, Aberaeron, Aberporth, Cwmtydu, Mwnt, coastline. The cottage has been sensitively refurbished, retaining the old beamed ceilings and the original stone walls. We offer beds fully made up on arrival, luxury towels provided, Sky television and all gas, electric included in the cost - with no VAT/booking fee or hidden extras.
The accommodation comprises of: a fitted kitchen, electric fan oven, gas hob. aga. fridge and microwave. An airy lounge with magnificent rural views. A bathroom comprising of a new bathroom suite - shower over bath. Upstairs there are two bedrooms - one double and one twin bedded room (a cot can be substituted for one of the twin beds if required) - additionally there is a second WC and washbasin located upstairs. In addition - for groups of more then four - we are able to accommodate 4 additional people in a top grade mobile home set in private secluded grounds - or this mobile home can be booked separately.
Isfryn is ideally placed, in an idyllic location with beautiful panoramic views of the Ceredigion countryside which is a haven for wildlife including the Red Kite and buzzards. Isfryn is also conveniently located for the glorious unspoilt coastline of West Wales with it's population of 127 bottle nose dolphins within metres of the shore at nearby New Quay. The town of Llandysul offers fishing facilities for the amateur and professional alike, renown as a centre for canoeing enthusiasts. It's close proximiy to Cardigan Bay with its sandy beaches makes it a convenient base for both coastal and rural activities. On our smallholding we have two welsh cobs, goats and sheep, if you wish to assist us at feedtime we would happily oblige.

NEW QUAY & Llandysul is a traditional unspoilt small market town. Built around it's ancient church, a large proportion is now quite rightly a conservation area. Nestling on the banks of the river Teifi one of the finest fishing rivers in Wales as well as for it's white water rafting. Before the days of electricity the rushing waters of the river Teifi and it's tributaires drove many waterwheels in the area and Llandysul was no exception. Several buildings are converted mills. Llandysul is ideally situated for exploring the varied and beautiful counties of Ceredigion, Camarthenshire and the Brecon Beacons. Whilst it is an excellent centre for walkers and cyclists, it also has all the major banks and an exciting array of shops and a fortnightly cattle market - well worth a visit.
Cardigan Bay is an outstanding and internationally important area for marine wildlife. It was the UK's first Marine Heritage Coast, sheltering some of Britain's rarest birds and marine species and home to a resident 130 bottlenose dolphins as well as porpoise and grey seals. Boat trips from New Quay offer marvellous opportunities to enjoy the bay's wildlife. The beautiful coastline is dotted with villages, small ports and harbour towns all with a seafaring history. Isfryn is an ideal base for all age groups to enjoy the surrounding countryside and beaches. Winding down is easy - if that is what you want - but there are opportunities galore, walking spectacular paths, sailing or surfing, challenging angling or sea fishing, marvellous bird watching, pony trekking or golf and world class mountain biking and scenic cycle routes. An ideal base for all age groups and tastes.
