Lying just outside Llanelli in rural Carmarthenshire, Trepartridge Cottage offers quality self catering accommodation in quiet surroundings but within easy reach of the M4 and the Carmarthenshire countryside and coastline. Trepartidge Cottage is a whitewashed converted stable block with beamed ceilings and all mod cons. It sits in a quiet valley next to a small farm. Our aim is to offer a home from home. There is a fully equipped Shaker style kitchen diner with crockery and cutlery for 6, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. A conservatory overlooks the patio with patio furniture and a lawned area. There is also parking for 3 cars. We accept pets with prior approval and a small charge. During the summer months we may allow some camping and caravans to stay. Visiting horses can use our stables given a few weeks notice. Around Trepartridge Cottage are several footpaths and bridleways. We have a badger sett in our woods and buzzards often circle overhead. A range of birds and wildlife frequent our tranquil valley. Trepartidge Cottage is ideally located for visiting some of the top tourist attractions in Wales - A short hop away is Pembrey Country Park with its adventure areas, dry ski slope, toboggan ride, horse riding, miniature railway and forest walks and the best beach in Wales at Cefn Sidan; sure to keep the family occupied for ages. The Celtic cycle way that links Swansea to Fishguard including the Millennium Wheel is only a few miles away. These cycle routes make for an energetic but enjoyable way to see the Carmarthenshire countryside. If needed bikes can be stored and washed in one of our barns. For the more active, there's also a quad bike circuit and a paint ball area in Trimsaran, our local village. The nearby Wildlife and Wetlands Centre is a great day out whatever the weather. Llanelli’s Millennium Coastal Park, with fishing and golf, is on your doorstep; as are the member only Ashburnham golf course, which is one of top courses in Wales, and the pay and play Glyn Abbey Golf Course - one of the best technically designed courses in the South Wales area. Machynys Peninsula Golf course, designed by Jack Nicklaus and built to USPGA specifications, is due to open near Llanelli in the summer of 2005 when the first nine holes and clubhouse are officially opened.
The castles at Oxwich, Weobley, Dryslwyn, Llansteffan, Carreg Cennen & Kidwelly are very interesting for the historically minded. Further afield at Laugharne lies Dylan Thomas Country with the famous boathouse and Castle and the long sandy beach at Pendine is a little further down the road from Laugharne. For the green fingered amongst you, there are Middleton Hall Gardens (also known as the National Botanic Gardens Wales), the restored Aberglasney Gardens near Carmarthen and Dinefwr Park near Llandeilo.
